About me

Shruti Garg is an architecture graduate whose work explores the relationship between space, light, and perception.

Her academic training in architecture shaped the way she observes the built environment — developing a sensitivity toward proportions, materials, and the subtle spatial details that define how a place is experienced. Over time, her interest gradually shifted from designing spaces to documenting them.

This transition became more defined when she pursued short photography courses at Museo Camera, the Center for the Photographic Arts in Gurugram, where she began exploring photography more seriously and refining her visual language. The experience led her to pivot her path toward photography.

Today, her work focuses primarily on architectural and interior photography. Drawing from her architectural background, she approaches each project with an understanding of design intent, composition, and spatial atmosphere. Her photographs aim to translate spaces into images that feel natural, balanced, and timeless — capturing not only how a space looks, but how it feels to inhabit it.

Through her work, she seeks to document architecture with clarity, sensitivity, and respect for the spaces and the people who create them.
